#22 and #33
When it comes to hockey, they are a team. These two have never played a game against each other and since they were in their pre-teens, have hardly even played on different lines.
It will be interesting to see if our All Star Captains try to make this one fun and split these two up in the Player draft of the 28th.
These two are absolutely amazing!
Henrik -#33 Center Vancouver Canucks
He is the “Play Maker” of the pair.
First Hat Trick in Nov 2009
Received Canucks’ Cyclone Taylor Trophy, Cyrus H McClean Trophy & Molson Cup as Team MVP
Finished season with 112 points, breaking the franchise record of 110
Became 1st Art Ross Trophy Winner in Canucks’ history
Named Player of the year in Sporting News
1st Canuck and 2nd Swede (behind Forsberg) to win The Hart Memorial Trophy
Currently Henrik has 9 goals, 46 assists, and 55 Points. He currently is ranked first in assists and 5th in points in the league.
Daniel – #22 Left Wing – Vancouver Canucks
Born 6 minutes after his identical twin, he is the “Goal Scorer” of the pair.
Daniel suffered a broken foot 4 games into the season last year. After sitting out 18 games, Daniel immediately came back to score his 3rd career Hat trick (against a team that shall remain nameless). 4 days later he was named 2nd star of the week and tallied 7 points (scoring another hat trick as well).
Daniel finished 2009-2010 with 56 assists and 85 points despite the injury-shortened season.
On October 9, Daniel was named Alternate Captain for the Vancouver Canucks.
Currently Daniel has 27 Goals, 31 Assists and 58 Points, ranking 3rd in the league in both goals and points.
As if their amazing skills on the ice were not enough, these two also matched donations to the BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver assisting in the building of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Diagnostic Imaging area.
If these identical twins do not scream All Star, I am not sure what does!
