Hats Off

I know this is a hockey board but as a woman and sports fanatic, I have to take a moment for a virtual high five to some girls that have made history, made a statement, changed the view of one young school and showed some real southern charm kicking some NCAA hiney (unlike most ALL of the teams on my bracket…) in MO this weekend.

Hats off to the Clayton State women’s basketball team for winning their first ever NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship. This victory marks Clayton State’s first ever Championship win in any sport and the first ever Women’s Basketball Championship in the state of GA. No other college has brought home this title to date.

Congrats to Dennis Cox, coach of the year and the Clayton St Girls!
