Winnipeg Jets vs. Dallas Stars: Viewing Information & Predictions

The Winnipeg Jets take on the Dallas Stars on Sunday night, in the first of two huge games between the two in the coming days.

The Jets trail the Stars by six points coming into the contest, and are currently on a six-game losing streak. The Stars dropped their last game in Calgary, but have won four of their last six.

Al Montoya and Tim Thomas will be the starters, after both Ondrej Pavelec and Kari Lehtonen are out with injuries. Rookie back-ups Michael Hutchinson and Christopher Nilstorp will dress for the Jets and Stars, respectively.

The Stars won the last meeting 6-4, after a four-goal second period, way back on December 14th. All-time, the clubs have 2 wins and 2 losses apiece.

Here is tonight’s viewing information:

TV: TSN Jets, TXA 21 (non-regional)

TIME: 7:00 PM Central

My Prediction: The Jets get their first win in almost two weeks in a big way. Dustin Byfuglien scores twice, as the Jets win 5-2. Montoya makes 29 saves.
