The Winnipeg Jets play their final game against a Central Divison opponent on Monday night, and the playoff-bound Minnesota Wild promise to be a tough test.
The Jets and Wild finish their season series on Monday, meeting for the first time since December 27th, when the Jets won 6-4. Minnesota leads the five-game series 3-1. All-time, the teams are 3-3.
The Jets will give rookie goaltender Michael Hutchinson his first NHL start, after being on the club’s roster for nearly a month as a back-up. At the other end will by Ilya Bryzgalov for the Wild, after a 20-save shutout vs. Pittsburgh on Saturday night. Bryzgalov has yet to lose in regulation as a member of the Wild.
The Jets are without James Wright, Mark Scheifele, Chris Thorburn, Zach Bogosian, Dustin Byfuglien, and Keaton Ellerby. Al Montoya will sit as well. Andrew Ladd is a healthy scratch for an undisclosed reason.

TIME: 7:00 PM Central

My Prediction: Much like Saturday’s game, I feel that the Jets will play calmly. The Wild will be a tough team defensively, but won’t score enough up front to beat the Jets. Winnipeg wins 4-2. Hutchinson gets the win with 22 saves.
