Winnipeg Jets vs. Boston Bruins: Viewing Information & Predictions

The Winnipeg Jets are looking for a win in their final home game of the 2013-14 season, but it won’t come easy against the Boston Bruins, who have one eye on the President’s Trophy.

Both teams are coming off a loss to the same team: the Minnesota Wild. The Jets fell 1-0 in Winnipeg on Monday night, while the Bruins were defeated 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday.

The Jets will start Michael Hutchinson for the second straight game, and his second NHL start. Tuukka Rask will be at the other end, starting his third consecutive game for the Bruins.

The Jets announced that Andrew Ladd will miss the rest of the regular season on Wednesday, joining Dustin Byfuglien, Mark Scheifele, Chris Thorburn, Al Montoya, Zach Bogosian, James Wright, and Keaton Ellerby.

The Bruins will make a game-time decision on Jarome Iginla, who has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury.

Here is tonight’s viewing information:

TIME: 7:00 PM Central, 6:00 PM Eastern

RADIO: TSN 1290

My Prediction: It’s the Boston Bruins, folks. They don’t take nights off, and they’re #1 for a reason. A viable Jets effort is squashed by the power-house B’s, in a 5-1 loss. Olli Jokinen scores the lone goal. Pavelec makes 25 saves.

Let’s hope I’m wrong! What’s your prediction? Leave it in the comments section below!
